We didn't expect the pictures on the website to be as real as they were.
There is so much to do, even by the Sunday we felt we hadn't used all of the facilities, like the table tennis, or used the cinema room enough.
The house lends itself to entertaining, you don't need to do anything yourself, it's all there.

- The outdoor terrace is one of the guest favourites in the cottage. The terrace has many amazing facilities including a hot tub, seating area and sun loungers. The terrace is also located right next to the Swedish sauna and a small kitchenette, perfect for getting drinks for everyone. Get ready for a break full of pampering and relaxation.
- West Acre has multiple fantastic eating areas both indoor and outdoor (for a lovely alfresco meal) so that everyone can have a great celebration meal in. West Acre also has a state of the art kitchen that is sure to please any budding chefs in the group. Also be sure to make sure to check out the fully stocked honesty gin bar for a celebration cocktail.
- There is plenty to do at West Acre to make sure that the whole hen party will have fun throughout their whole stay. It’s time to get competitive with the many games that are supplied for your pleasure such as the pool table, table tennis table, croquet and giant Jenga just to name a few.

- The beautiful city of York is just a short drive away with plenty for you and your hens to do if you wish to go for a day (or a night) out. York is full of absolutely fantastic bars and restaurants that everyone in the group will love.
- The metropolitan city of Leeds is also just a short drive away that also has many fantastic bars (we recommend a bar called The Alchemist) and restaurants.
