We loved our visit to West Acre, with the only downside being we had to leave (ha!). The house is incredible. Very big for the 4 families of us that stayed, plenty of space and rooms, and the kitchen was a constant gathering point.

The kids loved the cinema room (as did the big kids!), and the most popular item was the custom dining table which converts into a pool table. It was used A LOT, and on the evening changed back to a table to allow us to play games.

Wi-Fi was very good too. We were able to stream our firesticks to watch movies and TV at ease; a neat feature being the cinema has it's own network connection therefore ensuring strong signal in a room designed for streaming.

The hot tub and sauna were very good, and whilst I personally didn't use the sauna (everyone else did), I enjoyed several sunsets in the hot tub with a nice cold drink.

The location is extremely quiet. The local chip shop is rarely open but when it was we were treated to some lovely food. Highly recommend the local pub (The Black Swan); we had a Sunday roast there and also stopped in again for some drinks and snacks. The gravy is unbelievable; kudos to the chef! All the staff were lovely, and the kids enjoyed some pool as well as playing the garden play area.

What a beautiful house and garden! Everything was pristine when we arrived and the equipment in the kitchen was faultless. Its not easy catering for 17 people but we managed it easily although the kitchen is so huge, some if it took some locating 😂.
We had the master bedroom and that was amazing, I usually struggle to sleep in strange beds but it was so comfortable with supportive pillows, I slept very well.
We were lucky with the weather and made full use of the hot tub and the garden too. The teens loved the cinema room and the sauna and everyone enjoyed the pool table.

We stayed at West Acre from the 25th May 2026 for 5 nights, there was a party of 14 including  2 children and we have had the most fabulous time. The house is absolutely beautiful and very clean, I cannot fault it. We did not leave the house for the whole week, there was enough to do in the house and garden, we had no need to go anywhere else. Just perfect. What an amazing property for a large family celebration.
This was our 3rd visit to Westacre for my
Mums 75th birthday weekend. We were a group of 15, 10 adults and 5 children.
Nathan, Jeff and his family have put so much thought and love into making this the perfect place to relax, it’s such a great family space with lots of thoughtful details. Its equipped with all the little things you need that are so often forgotten auch as salt, pepper, toilet roll, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid. The pool table and hot tub were enjoyed by our group aswell as the large garden for ball games for the kids.
We booked a visit with the alpacas at Elmet alpacas and had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Black swan. We will be back for another stay

Absolutely stunning house. So well equipped.Such a lot of lovely touches. We hired the house for 2 nights to have a family get together for my
Daughter’s 40th birthday. The garden was great for the 3 children to run around in.  The hot tub was great. Lots of garden toys and indoor toys. Didn’t want to leave. Definitely epic recommend this house. Would love to go back sometime.  Excellent.

Absolutely stunning property. Well equipped for all occasions and celebrations. The house has been decorated to a really high standard including a cinema room. There’s a hot tub, pool table and even a sauna room. The beds are sooooo comfortable and with the advantage of just how quiet the area is. Accessible all areas for wheelchair users via a lift and ramps for the higher door thresholds.

Amazing stay! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The house was just what we wanted.  There was everything provided and lots of things to do to keep everyone entertained. It’s a very special place. There was 23 of us and the ages ranged from my Mum at 80 down to my nephew at 12 and we were all catered for.
