At the social centre of West Acre is our generous main lounge, with three large leather sofa’s set around a low oak table facing a central stone fireplace housing a wonderfully cosy log burning stove, there is an unlimited supply of free logs throughout the autumn and winter months. This room is perfect for getting everyone together and playing one of the huge selection of family games, or watching the 52 inch Smart TV with sound system.
Next door to the main lounge is the snug, with a PS4 and Xbox 360. Across the whole ground floor is an integrated Sonos music system. The Sonos app is easy to download and allows guests to connect to their own music, playing it in any individual room or it can be connected across a number of the rooms on the ground floor. There is also a record player on hand for playing one of our collection of classic vinyl’s.
When you have finished eating why not turn the dining room into a games room by flipping over the tabletop to reveal full-size slate bedded pool table. The walls of the room were designed around the pool table so there should be plenty of room to practice that perfect cue action all around the table.
There is also a large separate cinema room with a high-definition projector, black out blinds and surround sound cinema speakers. Simply connect a firestick or laptop, or bring some DVD’s to play on the DVD player supplied. Just pull down the blinds and get out the popcorn to create the perfect cinema experience.
