Selby is a small Yorkshire town located about 10 minutes from West Acre, yet it has one of the most outstanding Abbey churches to be found anywhere in England. Selby Abbey is often called the hidden Gem of Yorkshire. It has stunning architecture and served the wider community for over 900 years. The abbey is free to walk in and have a look around.
